Thailand Covid-19 Daily Briefing 24th July , 2020

24 July 2020 — An update from the Thai government regarding Thailand’s #COVID19 situation, reporting from the Center for COVID-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) at Government House 📌📌HIGHLIGHTS: – New cases = 10, deaths = 0, total cases = 3,279, total deaths = 58, and total recoveries = 3,107 –
The 12 persons who had close contact with an infected patient in Rayong have been in quarantine for more than 10 days and retested for the second time.
The results of all 12 cases are negative. The group will be released from the quarantine on 25 July 2020. – Organizations are invited to discuss and participate in the organizational quarantine. – Thailand has had no report of local infections of COVID-19 for 60 days.
The visas of foreigners who are stranded in Thailand will be extended until 26 September. But it is not an automatic extension. Foreigners are required to apply for the extension at the Immigration Bureau.
