TAT New Strategy – inclusive tourism destination

TAT intended to make Thailand a responsible and more inclusive tourism destination through the Bio-Circular-Green (BCG) Economy Model — where all aspects of life are sustainable.

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) is the government agency responsible for tourism development in Thailand.

The TAT has a dual focus: promoting tourism in Thailand to the world and sustainable development across all sectors of society. With this new mission, it hopes to attract more tourists and help them enjoy their time here responsibly.

The TAT works closely with stakeholders at local, national and international levels to create sustainable developments that will benefit visitors and locals alike. The Bio-Circular Green Economy Model — where all aspects of life are sustainable — represents one way they hope to do this through better cooperation between government bodies such as tourism officials; businesses; community groups; NGOs; universities etc.,
